Acceptable Use Policy
Updated 5 November 2026
Use services lawfully
Use Bell’s website and services for lawful activities and respect the rights and privacy of others. This includes copyright and permission to use or distribute material. Fraud, impersonation, threats and harassment are prohibited. Do not use Bell services to access, create, store, host or share pornography, other sexually explicit adult content, or child sexual abuse material. Content that threatens, abuses or exploits anyone, or encourages others to do so, is also prohibited.
Protect accounts and networks
Use only systems you are authorised to access. Keep account credentials private. Do not intercept another person’s traffic, spread malware, send unsolicited bulk messages or deliberately disrupt a service. Obtain the system owner’s permission before security testing.
Shared broadband and restricted websites
Express publishes separate usage thresholds and speed rules for each broadband plan. Reaching a published threshold triggers the treatment described for that plan. Access to particular content may also be restricted under Tanzanian law or a lawful direction. If other sites work and one destination is unavailable, contact support with the address and time so we can investigate the cause.
Report abuse or request a review
Send Bell the date, time, affected service and relevant evidence. Omit passwords and unrelated personal information. Bell may investigate and take proportionate action to protect people and services under the applicable agreement or law. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact us with the case or account reference.
